Allen ran the weld shop at the Korean Military Headquarters and across the road was the Korean Army Group. His group kept all of the vehicles on the road and fixed and serviced those vehicles. His unit had a Russian jeep that had been captured. Allen and his shop mates would occasionally used that jeep to go hunting. If fact, Allen had his brother ship him his personal Ithaca shot gun so he could hunt for pheasants. Allen built a motorcycle that would go 30 MPH using a Korean Bicycle and a Briggs and Stratton engine.
