Bob is a veteran submariner who survived 6 combat patrol in the Pacific. He served on the USS Tuna, USS Flying Fish, and the USS Swordfish. When he transfer from one sub to another, the boat he had been on was sunk 12 days later with all hands lost. Bob was a Torpedoman 2nd Class and served from 1942 to 1950.
