Kenneth served from 1942 until 1945 aboard Navy Submarines. He was a Chief Motor Machinist and made 7 combat patrols. He received the Submarine Combat Pin, The Good Conduct Medal, The Pacific WW-II Medal and a special letter of commendation for his work with fuel during the war.
